About

Dedicated to spreading the truth, beauty, and glory of the Catholic faith through artwork inspired by the eternal legacy of the saints and the majestic splendor of Catholic Churches across the world.

As St. Veronica gave her veil to Jesus during the stations of the cross, he bestowed a sacred image of his holy face into the cloth as a reward for her generosity and devotion. Each saint, by the grace of God and their fidelity and closeness to Jesus and the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church, shows a unique way at becoming an image of Christ. Vultus Domini, Latin for “The face of God”, reminds us of our own destiny, and that we are all created to become saints ourselves.

These Catholic artworks are painstakingly crafted through the age-old art of linocut, which mirrors the process to sanctity. Starting with the humble material of linoleum, originally a flooring material, the artist carves away excess, refines the blank tile into a beautiful design, and presses the image into being. In a similar way, God chisels away our imperfections with the tools of tribulation and grace, and fashions us from the dust of the ground into a unique creation of Christ’s image. Each linocut piece, with bold lines and delicate detail, echoes the labor of sanctity while inviting you to contemplate your own unique way to holiness. Let these Catholic works of art, crafted with reverence for our sacred traditions, adorn your home, stir your spirit, and inspire you to emulate these sons and daughters of Christ and to grow in virtue and holiness in hope of our eternal reward.
